Governor Pete Wilson To: 19th ANNUAL IRISH SPRINT AND STRIDE FOOTRACE I am delighted to extend my warm regards to everyone who has gathered for the 19th annual Irish Sprint an Stride Footrace. Throughout our history, the United States Marines have fought
bravely in Young Marine Lieutenant Pete Wilson being congratulated I applaud the Marine Corps for its humanitarian spirit and for recognizing the importance of community outreach programs such as the Annual Irish Sprint and Stride Footrace. Proceeds from today's event will ensure the betterment of California's most precious resource - our children - by directly benefiting two worthy programs, Toys for Tots and Devil Pups. May today's friendly competition between the Footrace participants reflect the spirit of the Irish culture and the excitement of St. Patrick's Day.
